Finishes 2nd in Ft. Myers KayakSlam Tournament

Adam Gross of the Team Emotion Kayak Fishing Team placed second in the third event of the KayakSlam Kayak Fishing Tournament Series in Ft. Meyers, Florida. Conditions were less than desirable, with a stalled cold front and rain greeting the anglers as they took to the water. The fishing was stellar however, with several big fish caught and released, including a monster 35 inch Redfish by David McCleaf of Ft. Meyers.
In addition to catching the largest Snook in the Tournament (31”), Adam recorded a 73.5” Slam, which gave him second place overall. Adam switched up lure selection, using Yozuri top water baits and Exude Dart soft plastics. He is currently third over-all in the West Central Florida Points Total with 335 points. Adam is joined on the leader board by fellow Emotion Kayak team Anglers Mark Couch in 6th and John Lee in 7th.
The event series concludes April 26th and 27th in Punta Gorda, Florida.
